About the NAID
The graceful and strong large sized Native American Indigenous dog is descended from working lines and is an affectionate and playful dog that carries itself with a sense of dignity. NAIDs are recognized by their thick waterproof coats, furry tails, and strong shoulders. Their almond shaped eyes convey both their loving and sometimes mischievous nature. Intentional training, based in positive reinforcement, started in early puppyhood will result in well behaved dogs with playful, gentle, and loyal natures.
